blog as a portfolio?

What do you think about setting up a blog as a virtual portfolio? Good idea? Bad? I know there are special websites for virtual portfolios but what about a blog?

Decent enough typo-flash

Okay its not strictly just type and the song is a bit woeful but the combination of letters, illustration and text effects are quite good. Nice choice of colors too.

Monkey with typographic training! Now that's a pet I would love to have! :P

Prologue.

Time to update this blog! So what is this all about? Basically we are going to talk that everything that involves digital media and graphic design. What's good and what's very very bad :P Also what blogs are interesting, content wise and visually. If you's know any cool blogs let us now! Or basically anything that's worth talking about.
